“Punk became an attitude of protest. It was about getting angry and actually doing something to disturb; to upset the balance.” Tracey Skepper, bass player in Civil Dissident.

“The initial punks were maligned and underestimated, but many of their once radical ideas found their way into the wider society. Many of these individuals are still here, and have much to say. They say it here, in this film. They are still raging.” Jennifer Ross (Director)

“I took inspiration from the energy of the punk movement, as well as the ignorant (and often corrupt) government bureaucracies which tried to control them, to create a score which combined elements of structure and non-structure butting heads, whilst sometimes resulting in anarchic rhythms and tonalities. As the story of the film progresses, these chaotic elements transform, as do the punks over time, into more nuanced forms of protest.” Dale Cornelius (composer & associate producer of Age of Rage – The Australian Punk Revolution)
